Shiro is a childhood friend of Ganta Igarashi and Hagire Rinichirō's adopted daughter. Along with Sorae Igarashi, Hagire experimented on her in order to heighten a person's immune system, creating the very first Deadman by accident, along with her second personality, the Wretched Egg in order to cope with her suffering.

Former Police Officer and one of the major supporting characters in the series. He is also a Deadman previously imprisoned in Deadman Wonderland. He is the first Deadman Ganta encountered. He has trained Ganta and helped him on multiple occasions

One day, an earthquake happened while she was in a greenhouse. Her mother came, but much to her surprise and horror, she grabbed one of the plants and ran off, leaving Minatsuki behind. This eventually caused Minatsuki to become a warped liar (and gained her Branch of Sin powers) with a sadistic personality.

A Deadman formerly imprisoned at Deadman Wonderland. He was chosen by Hagire Rinichirō to be his third generation because of his unique Branch of Sin. He claims to be the younger brother ofMitsuzaki Yosuga, however his actual older sister died protecting him during the earthquake.

A.k.a: The Director
The main antagonist of the Deadman Wonderland series and the foster father of Shiro. He has researched the Wretched Egg for a long time, longer than his original lifespan. That is why he developed technology, used in combination with Chan and En's Branch of Sin, to overwrite his memories to another human being (his different forms are called generations), lengthening his own life. His ultimate goal was to recreate the Wretched Egg. His servants followed him generation after generation.
